UNLIKE ANYTHING MUSKOKA HAS SEEN BEFORE
My studio/gallery will be unlike anything Muskoka has yet seen! My gallery is my creative source. Displaying both my most recent images as well as those representing over 30 years of photographic passion. All by the shores of Lake Rosseau near Portage Bay.
With floor to ceiling windows looking out on the lake, my grand hall is the perfect venue for displaying and experiencing photography.
Natural Light Portraiture
Using the natural light sweeping in from my windows, images from my studio have soft, rich, mid-tones of classic black and white or colour photography.
Photography Lessons
I also offer photography classes on site and the available use of my in house computers for a complete educational experience. With 40 acres of land behind me, there are lots of interesting places to explore during the field sessions.
Boat Portraits and Scenery
I am particularly proud of my boat portraits. My images have appeared on over 20 posters throughout North America. Together with William Gray , we published a full colour book on Muskoka's antique boats that has reached "Canadian Best Seller" status. In addition to classic launches, I turn my photographic eye towards Muskoka's spectacular shoreline and wilderness in all its seasons.
I grew up spending my summers in Muskoka and working as a photographer/reporter for the Muskoka Sun for over 10 years. Muskoka is a very special place for me and I believe I have an intimate knowledge and deep understanding of the region.
